Delete your account

The short version

You can delete your Ark Agency account at any time from Settings in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Your personal data is removed, backups are cleared within 30 days, and only records the law requires us to keep are retained.

How to delete your account

  1. Sign in to Ark at www.ark-agency.app (or open the Ark app on your device).
  2. Open Settings from the sidebar.
  3. Scroll to Delete account and choose Delete my account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.

If you can't sign in, email us at support@ark-agency.app from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you within 7 days.

What is deleted

  • Your profile (name, email, avatar) and sign-in credentials.
  • Your notification preferences and connected services (for example, Google Calendar tokens).
  • Your time entries, work logs and personal settings.
  • If you are the only member of a workspace, that workspace and all of its content (clients, content, briefs, tasks, files) are deleted too.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Work you contributed to a shared workspace (comments, files, activity records) stays with that workspace, attributed as "Former member", until the workspace owner deletes it.
  • Billing records required by law (invoices, payment history) are kept for the legal retention period, up to 10 years.
  • Backup copies of deleted data are removed within 30 days.
