Video production workflow: one path for every video

One path every video follows, so nothing skips internal review, every hand-off has an owner and the post date holds. This is the spine the other ten SOPs hang from.

Content production workflowIdea → script → shoot → edit → approval → posted

Purpose

One path every piece of content follows, so nothing skips internal review, every hand-off has an owner, and the post date holds.

Nothing goes to the client before it has passed internal review.

When to use it

For every content piece, from the moment it's added to the board.

  2. Script — the copywriter writes hook, body and call to action in the piece's script; moves it to review.

  3. Internal review — the creative director approves or comments within [1 working day].

  4. Client script approval — sent through Ark; chase after [48 h]; max [2] rounds.

  5. Shoot — follow the Shoot day SOP; raw files uploaded the same day.

  6. Edit — the editor delivers v1 by the edit deadline Ark sets; follows Editing & delivery.

  7. Quality check — run the Quality check SOP before the client sees anything.

  8. Client video approval — max [2] revision rounds; extra rounds are a change request.

  9. Schedule & post — caption checked, scheduled for the agreed date and time.

  10. After posting — first-hour community replies; log the link on the piece.

  • Client approvals are recorded in Ark, not only in chat
